During my search for a very wearable pair of summer shoes at the Omoda event last week I bumped into these black suede Supertrash espadrilles. Generally I’m not the biggest espadrille fan but I really like the design with the laces around my ankle. Last year I’ve been wearing my greek sandals and Birkenstocks all summer because I wasn’t in the mood to look for a decent alternative. And most of the time I tend to wait till the season is almost over to update my wardrobe but I’m working on it 😉

What’s extremely important for me at the moment is that every single piece ending up in my wordrobe has to be worn often. No more fashionable one night stand or what so ever! Before choosing the Supertrash espadrilles I posed myself the questions: are the shoes comfortable > yes, can you combine them easily > yes, do you really like them > yes! I know myself quite well and I tend to spend money quite easily on things I never wear. Since I’m turning 31 in a few days, the times has come to handle my financial situation in a smart way.
